Bought these boots in brown recently after getting a pair of hush puppy shoes with a similar height of heel (Hush Puppies Ladies Hibiscus Shoe) that I'm very pleased with - high enough to feel a bit glam and make you walk tall, but not so high it hurts.
The boots were a delight from the start: well made, comfortable fit for my somewhat wider feet, great to stand and walk in, slightly quirky design. The leather is very good quality and a lovely colour, (looks better than in the photos) and I expect these boots will last for a long time.
My only slight concern is that because the heel is leather-covered, it will get damaged with repeated wear. However, a good shoe repair should be able to re-cover the heel so I'm not too worried.
A fantastic boot and an absolute bargain.

Agree with the other Irish reviewer that these boots are amazing value.
They were my first shoe purchase online and, although I was a bit wary at the beginning (especially as you can't really walk around in the shoes before you buy them), I have no complaints at all.
The boots arrived quickly.
They were comfortable (as it seems everyone expects from Hush Puppies).
And, most importantly, they looked really good the first time I tried them on.
Personally, I didn't notice the heel height too much and have had no problem wearing them for extended periods of time. This may be because the heel itself it quite sturdy and shoe feels really stable or due to the grip on the underside of the sole giving you confidence whatever the floor conditions.
As for the tightness at the ankle mentioned by the other reviewer, one foot did feel slightly tight at the ankle when I first tried it on, but that has passed and they're fine now
All in all a great purchase of a quality shoe.

Great boot, quite comfortable and easy to walk in. I order a size above my normal
size and it fits perfectly. no regret... would probably get the black one as well.

These ankle boots are good value and, at £34 sterling including P&P are cheaper than I have seen them in the shops in Dublin. The design is neat and compact and the footbed is, as you would expect from Hush Puppies, very comfortable. Hush Puppies is one of the brands that I trust most when it comes to sizing. I wear UK size 6, European 39 and these are a perfect fit. I chose the black and expect to get good wear from them. At 3 inches, the heel is a little higher than I would normally choose and that may limit whether I can wear them all day or not - at least until I get used to them. If I have a criticism, it is that they are a bit too tight on the ankle but that probably has more to do with my ankles than with the boots. I am hopeful that they will soften and stretch a little with wear and that will give me a perfect fit in time. All in all they are a great little boot for the price.
