You can wear them to their full length exposing the retro quilted plaid pattern or folded down to expose the cream fur. Great boots. Hadnt been able to find a comfy pair of boots before as haven't got the smallest of calfs, this can be as tight or as loose as you want with the ties to do it up. So lovely and warm. Fur lining is on the base of your foot as well. Have since bought another pair of boots from sugar - would recommend to everyone, won't look for boots by anyone else now!!

they look like your wearing slippers, but they are lovley and cuddly and snuggley so i would recommend if you suffer from cold feet like me these will keep you warm but remember they are not waterproof so can get a bit soggy, but they are snuggly like a rabbit round your feet

Very snug boots - warm and furry and comfortable (if the right size). Unfortunately they were snug in sizing too, and my normal size 6 felt like a size 5. I returned them and ordered a size 7 in a slightly different pattern, as I found the pink plaid design brighter than pictured and wanted something a little more subtle once I'd seen them. Very very pleased with the style and comfort now I've got the right size - they hardly needed breaking in at all.
